Finally we arrived. After 5 days and three different countries.
After cold cold Germany we got to hot hot Chennai. We try to not get killed in the traffic. We enjoy looking at all those colorful-dressed women, enjoying the smell of jasmin flowers in their hair, try to ignore the smell of pee on other corners. We had a great Thali for lunch and stay at a beautiful hostel.
We stayed a day in Sharjah (UAE), where people didnt seem to be happy about us going to town. We didnt. We entered the airport again and everybody was friendly. We met a guy from Tunisia and a girl from Iraq who worked there. They told us that they dont know any local person who actually works, though they got all the money... People from everywhere in world (well, except the emirates) work there - the wage depends of the country of origin.
Now we try to get used to the climate, the noise (people seem to love firecrackers here), and everything else. We enjoy it!!!
